Winter Hiking in Leysin

The experience

This trail rewards you with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. We visited on a weekend and it was moderately busy — with skiers sharing the area, which brought its own challenge with Abby being an Australian Shepherd. Her herding instincts were definitely switched on!

Abby's highlight

Abby was in her element in the snow. Her favourite game was "catching" snowballs — she'd chase them down with full commitment every single time, completely unfazed by the fact that they never quite made it back to hand.
